Why this happens

Ghost tracks member subscriptions through Stripe. When PayGlue creates a member with comped: true (a complimentary membership), Ghost does not see an active Stripe subscription behind it. In some Ghost versions, this causes the member’s account page to show a Stripe-related cancellation or billing notice.
Stripe Canellation
This is a Ghost UI issue, not a PayGlue error. The member’s access is fully active.

What to tell your members

If a member contacts you about this notice, reassure them that their access is active and the notice can be ignored. Their membership was granted through your payment provider, not directly through Stripe.

Long-term fix

We are working on documentation and a dashboard hint to make this easier to communicate. This notice only appears when a Stripe account is connected, because that is the case where PayGlue marks members as comped. With no Stripe account connected, access is carried by a label instead and Ghost has no subscription to comment on. See also: Do I need Stripe?.
