What is the organization slug?
The slug is the unique identifier for your PayGlue organization. It appears in your webhook URLs and your dashboard URL.
Renaming your slug
Only the organization’s Owner can rename the slug. Go to Settings > Organization and check both required confirmation boxes before saving — PayGlue will not let you save without confirming that you understand the webhook URLs will change.
After renaming, you must update the webhook URL in every connected payment provider’s dashboard. Webhooks sent to the old URL will fail until you update them.
Where to update after a rename
Update the webhook URL (https://api.payglue.io/webhooks/{provider}?tenant={slug}) in every connected provider’s dashboard:
- Polar: Settings > Webhooks
- Lemon Squeezy: Settings > Webhooks
- PayPal: Developer Dashboard > Webhooks
- Paddle: Developer tools > Notifications
- Gumroad: Settings > Advanced > Applications (re-register the webhook URL)
- Ko-fi: Settings > Webhooks
- Creem: Developers > Webhooks
